I was playing around with a new style here, using tips and tricks ive picked up from others but using them with my own ideas, I wanted to try out different scenes using different Colours to see what kind of mood each colour generated.
I had fun with these but felt like as soon as I had the main set down i was working into it slower and slower, afraid to add more incase i ruined what I like about them.
Each painting took from half an hour to an hour.
Maybe the next one ill see how far I can push myself.

ReplyDeleteI wouldnt worry about the feeling of 'ruining' what you like about them. Its a thing every illustrator goes through. An Image can rarely look nice throughout the entirety of process, just keep pushing forward with the knowledge it will probably get worse looking until it gets better looking.
Theres a few things I'd alter in these / progress on maybe to show you how I'd move forward, but my wrist is fucked at the moment so it'll be a awhile.
Keep up the productivity!
